The plazas along St. Georges Avenue are where a battery discovers it is finished, usually with groceries in the trunk. Give the dispatcher the plaza name and the store you parked near, and our driver brings the jump pack first at one flat price.

If the battery is dead for good, the tow to your garage is added at the flat fee right there, groceries still in the car.

The shops on Route 27 are our most regular Rahway customers. A finished car going home to Milton Avenue, a customer's car going to the dealer on Route 1 for warranty work, a wreck coming in from a Route 1 crash scene. They call a direct line, book a window, and see the jobs on one monthly invoice.

Bakeries, florists, pizzerias and cleaners along the avenue run one vehicle they cannot do without. A van dead before the morning route is an emergency for that business, and the dispatcher treats it as one. A wheel-lift or a medium-duty truck depending on the vehicle, and an account if it happens more than once.

St. Georges Avenue is a two-way road with turning traffic at every plaza entrance. A car dead at the Elizabeth Avenue or Westfield Avenue light needs to be out of the lane fast. If it rolls, push it to the curb or into the nearest plaza entrance; if not, hazards on and wait on the sidewalk, and our truck comes in with the light bar on and holds the lane while it loads.
